RAM 2500 / 3500 ABS Control Module

The electronic module is a different component from the hydraulic unit, with its own supersession chain — and swapping one will not fix the other.

What the factory part looks like right now

The module supersedes twice: 68347098AA → 68347098AB → 68347098AC. 68347098AC is the current issue.

This is not a substitute for the hydraulic unit

Replacing the ABS control module does not resolve a hydraulic control unit fault. The two are distinct decisions, and a module swap on a hydraulic fault returns the truck unrepaired.

Before ordering or installing, confirm

Confirm before you commit

  • That the fault is in the module

Diagnose module versus hydraulic unit before committing to either chain.

  • Programming after fitment

The module requires programming once fitted.

What this record does not cover

Not covered by the record

The programming requirement is recorded without procedure detail. No rebuild or exchange path is held for the module, and no diagnostic code evidence exists in the record.

Check this against your vehicle

Start with the number you have and we'll show what's on record for it, including anything documented as an alternative.

This page explains the documented repair paths. The investigation helps determine which of those best matches your specific vehicle and circumstances.

Keep going

Everything on this page comes from a documented investigation record. Where the record is silent, the page says so rather than filling the gap. Always confirm fitment, application, and any programming requirement for your specific vehicle before installing.
